Launching a new book is a lot of work. I’ve been doing a lot of online promotion lately, including: a short article for Book Reporter on the genesis of The Wrong Girl – that is, how the book came about and why I decided to write something related to but so different from the Alafair books. You can have a look at that article here.
I also did a fun, short podcast at Biblio Happy Hour on Monday in which I wax eloquent about The Wrong Girl. Have a listen! http://ow.ly/acrM50x89RV
And if you haven’t had enough, and want to see how it all came about, Elisabeth Storrs interviews me in her November inspiration newsletter here. If you subscribe to her newsletter you can enter into the draw for a digital copy of The Wrong Girl. As a special treat, my friend Judith Starkston is offering 3 copies of her new release, Sorcery in Alpara, at the same address: https://elisabethstorrs.com/subscribe
But my most exciting news is that I’m going back to the home country in early December to do a couple of personal appearances!
On December 10, at 6:30 p.m. Join me for a night of music and mystery at the brand new Central Library in Norman, Oklahoma, for a night of live jazz music by local artists Miss Brown to You and listen to moi, Donis Casey, talk about my newest mystery novel The Wrong Girl.
And then on December 15, at 2:00 in the afternoon, I’ll be waxing eloquent about The Wrong Girl and the roaring twenties at Magic City Books in my home town of Tulsa, OK.
