MORE September delights: Writer Magazine calls it one of the best writers’ conferences in the nation! It’s almost time for WRITE NOW 2022, Deep Dive in the Desert, Sept. 16 and 17, sponsored by the Desert Sleuths chapter of Sisters in Crime. It’s a virtual conference this year, with pitch sessions, marketing sessions, editing sessions, an in-person networking social on Friday night, and wonderful on-line panels all day Saturday. The featured speaker this year is Hallie Ephron talking about creating compelling characters, and you can’t beat that. On Saturday morning (Sept 17 at 9:30 PDT) I’ll be participating in a craft panel called CWriting Regional Voices and Settings: starring Yours Truly, David Heska Wanbli Weiden, and Betty Webb.
